65 Progressive Tent Project for displaced Families in Ormoc

Action Humanitarian partnered with Barebones and Goal Zero to return to Ormoc, Leyte, Philippines to build a 65 unit progressive Tent village.  Each tent was donated by Barebones and each came with two solar panels with lights.  Considering many of these people are use to candle light in the night, the option for lighting was a huge luxury for them.  The individuals for each progressive tent were chosen by a local partner that donated land for the village.  The project was a big success and helped many people get back on their feet from the life altering Typhoon the previous year.
